Challenge
Filing taxes needed an expert
Taxpayers need an easy, secure and accessible way to file income tax, pay and track submissions. The current IRIS (FBR) platform is outdated, hard to navigate and gives no real-time guidance, which leads to frustration and low digital adoption. I designed for Nisa Ali, a salaried employee in Lahore, and Irshad Jutt, a freelancer. Both couldn't file on their own, were confused by expenses and feared making mistakes.
Approach
A guided flow, one step at a time
I reviewed IRIS (FBR) alongside Tax Easy, Tax Dosti, Muavin and Be Tax, then built a CX map, information architecture and user flows before the high-fidelity design.
